range of insurance packages for small businesses, ProSurance,
has had a complete makeover. Featuring enhanced cover, a
rationalisation of existing wording variations, and a totally
new look and feel, this product suite is now available
for the first time ever outside of Canada and
Australia. |
|
| ProSurance PRO is a comprehensive
insurance package for small professional services firms with
fee income below £5m (or local equivalent). Our leading-edge
errors and omissions cover is combined with the other
essential office coverages including general liability ,
property, and business interruption. |
|
|
ProSurance A&E is a tailored variant of
the main product aimed specifically at small firms of
architects and engineers. Recognising that many of the
smallest A&E firms want to be able to buy comprehensive
cover , quickly and efficiently, we've twinned our new product
with our existing high levels of service to provide a credible
alternative to the incumbent players in this market sector.

| The best news is that over the coming
weeks and months these products will be steadily rolled out
across all the countries that we currently operate in. This
month saw the release of PRO and A&E in the UK and Canada.
We're also pleased to announce the launch of the E&O
element of both of these policies in the US. Click

TECH Updated and Relaunched!
| |
| TECH: Ground breaking cover
for technology companies |
| Since early 2000, CFC
has specialised in the provision of insurance to technology
companies. Through a process of constant innovation we have
always aimed to stay one step ahead of the competition in this
dynamic and constantly evolving market sector. With the launch
of Esurance TECH we believe we have now taken a giant leap
forward! |
|
| Recognising that the major source of
claims for technology companies comes from breach of contract,
we have attempted to tackle this thorny issue and provide
clear, fair, and comprehensive cover for this major risk. By
removing the standard contractual liability exclusion we are
now able to provide cover for contractual warranties and
indemnities, providing our brokers and clients with the
confidence that their major exposures are properly covered.
|
| In the UK and Canada we have also
tailored the supporting office coverages, including general
liability, property and business interruption, specifically
for technology companies. This is the first time that this has
been properly addressed, and recognises the fact that
technology companies have some unique exposures in most
insurance areas, not just their professional indemnity.
Combined with our other innovative extensions, lack of
exclusions, and broad civil liability wording, we feel our new
TECH wording is genuinely best of breed! Click

brochure. |

Don't expose yourself....get
covered for privacy breaches
| |
| C&P: New cyber and privacy
policy launched |
| When we first launched
Esurance back in 2000 the buzz was all about computer viruses
and hack attacks. Whilst these threats are still very real and
constantly evolving and growing, there is now a new threat
that is making all the headlines - privacy. Recognising this
change of emphasis we are proud to announce the launch of
C&P, our innovative new cyber and privacy liability
policy. |
|
|
When California first implemented their privacy breach
notification law, the privacy liability landscape changed for
ever. Now adopted in over 35 different states, these laws
require companies to formally notify individuals who may have
had their confidential data compromised. With over 245m US
citizens affected since 2005, and the average cost of making a
notification estimated to exceed $5 per person, this is
rapidly becoming a major exposure for businesses who store
data on US customers. |
| Nor is this a uniquely American
problem. Similar privacy breach notification laws are starting
to spread across the world and many legal experts predict that
similar rules will be implemented within Europe in the next 12
months. Furthermore, recent high profile breaches, not least
by the UK Government themselves, have highlighted the
potential for significant civil liability and serious brand
degradation that may arise following an inadvertent breach.
|
| Esurance C&P is a comprehensive
first and third party policy addressing the major risks facing
companies that rely on the use of technology to run their day
to day businesses. Available in over twenty countries across
the world, this is rapidly becoming a major element of any
company's commercial insurance programme. Click

from Web 2.0 Social networking and user generated
