Don't expose yourself...get covered against privacy breaches
CFC Underwriting announces today the launch of Esurance™ C&P its next generation cyber and privacy insurance for companies which rely on technology.
Esurance™ C&P is the successor to CFC's flagship cyber liability insurance which has been accredited by BIBA since 2004. Designed to reflect the realities of today's data rich environment Esurance™ C&P offers indemnity against the implications of privacy breaches, whether caused by human error, malicious employees, virus or hack attack. In addition it continues to provide protection against the risks associated with email and internet use, system damage, and business interruption due to technology failure.
Esurance™ C&P offers worldwide protection. It includes cover for contractual or civil fines such as those issued by data protection commissioners the world over and private bodies such as the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council. Other aspects of cover include intellectual property rights infringement, defamation and a provision for PR services in order to mitigate reputational damage from data loss incidents.
